HI

One of the conditions of getting married was that my wife's cat would be moving in with us. As we live in a first floor flat in London, a cat ladder was the only solution. I hope Prince likes his new ladder.

This is a cat ladder made for a flat in London. There was no outdoor access for the cat from the first floor flat, so a catflap was put in the window and the three section ladder installed to allow the cat into the garden. The ladder had to be strong enough to take the weight of the cat, but weak enough that it would not allow an intruder to gain entry.

One for the blog page. Not the prettiest of constructions, but effective! Not only is it used by my cat, Digby, but he has a friend (and a few enemies) that use it to come and see him as well now. Greg, London.

Hi,
Given that your website was a wonderful inspiration to building our cat ladder I thought it only right I should send in a photo of my finished product!

The picture shows my neigbour's son giving some encouragement to my cat Ethel to join him for a play in the garden. The steps were crafted and finished by his father, top neighbours!

Not so much a ladder, but good use of what was available. Used a
couple of shelving brackets and some left over wood from the decking
so it didn't look out of place. The sil to the window wasn't quite
deep enough so I cut a piece to length and then screwed through the
plastic sil into the wood. Now all the cats can happily climb onto the
roof and through my bedroom window :)

WOW! One of the best cat ladder I ever seen!

If you want to see this cat ladder in all its glory, it's in the garden at the rear of Tony's Natural Food Stores, Caledonian Road (a nice veggie cafe 5 mins walk from King's Cross station).

I can recommend the Battenburg Cake - nyum, nyum, nyum!
